MRY Compound tablet manages arthritis effectively. It is a combination of Maharasnadi Kashaya yoga fortified with Yogaraja guggulu.  It is an Ayurvedic proprietary medicine manufactured by Bipha Drug Laboratories, Kottayam. 

Arthritis affects many millions of people of all age groups and nationalities. In fact, everyone who lives long will probably have some form of arthritis. Arthritis is the most common and most disabling condition reported.

Arthritis causes pain, swelling, and limited movements in joints and connective tissues throughout the body. It is usually chronic, meaning that it lasts a life time. If arthritis is not treated scientifically there is a potential for destruction of joint tissue, damage to internal organs, weakening of spine and brittleness of bones.

According to modern medicine there is no absolute cure for arthritis today, but a lot can be done to control, manage and care for arthritis with MRY Compound.

Ingredients

Ingredients & Composition of MRY Compound Tablet:

  • Rasna (Alpinia galanga)- 10 mg- this is a popular remedy formany respiratory ailments, rheumatism and also considered to be good remedy for impotence and nervous debility.
  • Dhanvayashakam (Fagunia arabica)- laxative, diuretic and expectorant.
  • Bala(Sida cordifolia)- 10 mg- clinical studies have proven the presence of sympathomimetic alkaloid which showed all physical and chemical characteristics of ephedrine, it’s use as a cardiac stimulant.
  • Eranda (Ricinus communis)- cures muscular rheumatism, paralysis, tremor, asthma, cough, pain and absorbs inflammation.
  • Devadaru (Cedrus deodara)– 10 mg- carminative and is a powerful astringent.
  • Sati (Kempheria galanga)- 10 mg- tubers are carminative, diuretic, stimulant and expectorant.
  • Vacha (Achorus calamus)– 10 mg- expectorant and nervine sedative.
  • Vasa (Adathoda vasica)– 10 mg- expectorant, antispasmodic, diuretic and alterative.
  • Musta (Cyperus rotendus)- 10 mg- tubers are useful in fever, diarrhea, dysentery, dyspepsia, vomiting, cholera etc. The Romans used it as an emmenagogue in uterine complaints.
  • Punarnava (Boerhaavia diffusa)- 10 mg- it is efficient in oedema, anemia, heart diseases, cough, intestinal colic and is recommended in diseases of nervous system and piles.
  • Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia)- 10 mg- entire part is regarded as a valuable alterative, tonic and is diuretic aphrodisiac, hepatic stimulant and demulscent.
  • Aragvadha (Cassia fistula)– 10 mg- useful in fever and heart disease.
  • Shatapushpa (Peucedamum greveolens)- regarded as carminative, aromatic and promotes secretion of milk.
  • Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris)- 10 mg- used in case of spermatorrhoea, phosphaturia, diseases of genito urinary system such as dysuria, gonorrhea, gout and impotence.
  • Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera)- 10 mg- diuretic, tonic, aphrodisiac and alterative.
  • Prathivisha (Aconitum hetrophyllum)- it is valuable for combating debility after fever, an excellent tonic and aphrodisiac, very efficacious in diarrhea, dysentery, acute inflammatory conditions etc.
  • Shatavari (Asperagus racemosus)- 10 mg- its use increases discerating of semen,cures barrenness in women, removes disorders of the female genitals, rheumatism and diseases of the joints.
  • Dhanyaka (Coriandrum sativum)- 10 mg-this is aromatic, stimulant, carminative, stomachic, refrigerant, antibilous, tonic, diuretic and aphrodisiac.
  • Pippalimoola (Piper longum)- relieves cough, cold, asthma and hoarseness. Effective in all kinds of inflammation.
  • Brahathi dvaya (Solanum lycopersicum, Solanum jacquini)- 10 mg- both are used in the fever and pain in the chestalso dysuria, stone in the bladder and enlargement of liver and spleen.

These are the ingredients of Maharasnadi Kashayam.

In combination of MRY compound tablet which is fortified with Yogaraja guggulu, guggulu is believed to stimulate the appetite, improves general condition and reduces fever, causes absorption of effused products and reduces secretion from diseased surfaces.

Dose

Dose: 2 tablets twice daily before food. The dose needs to be lowered in children, based on physician’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
