Muniheal Oil – How To Use, Ingredients

Muniheal Oil is the solution for wounds and ulcers. It prevents scarring. It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Muniyal Ayurveda Pharmaceuticals. 

Indications

Indications-
Injuries – Sadhyovrana
Infested wounds with pus collection – Dushta vrana
wounds in nails, teeth – Nakhadanta
wounds with sinus tracks – Nadivrana
Boils – Visphota
Dagdhavrana – burn wounds.

Uses, method of usage

Uses of Muniheal Oil:

  • Disinfects, cleanses and heals chronic infected ulcers.
  • Quickly heals fresh wounds.
  • Excellent for healing burn injuries.

How to use:
This product is meant for external application only.
The wound is washed thoroughly to get rid of sand and dust particles. Then the oil is applied and left over the area for 15 – 30 minutes. After that, it can be wiped out with the help of cotton swab. Longer the oil stays on the wound / abscess, better will be the result.

Precaution if you apply this oil over feet:
If you apply this oil on feet, make sure to wash off thoroughly with water or wipe off with cloth. The oil can make you slippery while walking.
After applying, make sure there are no oil spills on the floor. This can make the floor slippery.

Storage:
Store in a cool and dry place.

Shelf life: 3 years from the date of manufacture.

Side effects of Muniheal Oil:
It is for external application only.

During pregnancy, lactation

If you were using this oil before pregnancy without any allergic reaction, you can continue using this oil even during pregnancy.
If you have not used this product before and wish to use it during pregnancy, better to consult a doctor because it can cause skin allergy in some rare cases.
It is generally considered as safe to use during lactation, however consult your doctor for the right advice.

Can this product be applied after steam therapy?
No. Oil is best applied before steam therapy. This is as per basic Ayurvedic principles.
