Chandanadi Kashayam is an Ayurvedic medicine in herbal decoction form. It is used in the treatment of fever, cough, thirst etc. This product is formulated based on Kerala Ayurvedic principles.
Chandanadi Kashayam uses:
It is used mainly used in Pitta imbalance disorders like
Trushna – excessive thirst
Kasa – cold, cough
Jvara – fever
Rakta – bleeding disorders
Chandanadi kashayam dose:
5 – 10 ml, once or twice a day, before food, along with honey, or as directed by doctor.
If the Kashayam is concentrated, then it should be mixed with equal quantities of water.

Chandana – Sandalwood – Santalum album
Indrayava – Connessi seed – Holarrhena antidysenterica
Patha – Cyclea peltata
Katuki – Picrorrhiza kurroa
Duralabha – Alhagi camelorum
Guduchi – Indian Tinospora (stem) – Tinospora cordifolia
Balaka – Pavonia odorata
Lodhra – Lodh tree (bark) – Symplocos racemosa
Pippali – Long pepper fruit – Piper longum
The above herb powders in equal quantity is used to prepare Kashayam (water decoction)
There are no known side effects with this product.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
