As per the claims of manufacturer, it is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment for Bleeding gums, Gingivitis, Pyorrhoea, and Toothache.

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata and Pitta.
Usage and duration of use
Pyonil Powder – How To Use:
Take ½ teaspoonful of powder and rub gently over the gums and teeth with finger or mix with warm water and gargle for 10 – 20 minutes, and spit out.
How long to take?
It can be taken for upto 3 – 4 months, based on doctor’s advice.
Ingredients
Pyonil Powder Ingredients:
Each 20 gram contains
200 mg each of
Shunti – Ginger Rhizome – Zingiber officinalis
Yava Kshara – Kshara of Barley – Hordeum vulgare
Pippali – Long pepper fruit – Piper longum
Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum – 400 mg
1 g each of
Haritaki – Chebulic Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia chebula
Vibhitaki – Belliric Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia bellirica
Amalaki – Indian gooseberry fruit – Emblica officinalis Gaertn.
4 g each of
Musta – Nut grass (root) – Cyperus rotundus
Jyotishmati – Celsastrus paniculata
Glycosmis pentaphylla – 8 g
Side effects and precautions
Side effects and precautions:
There are no side effects of this medicine.
Accidental oral intake may cause gastric irritation.
Store in a cool dry place.
Use this medicine only till the prescribed time, in the prescribed dose only.
