D2D Tablets is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine, manufactured by Alarsin Pharmaceuticals, Mumbai, used in treatment of digestive complaints. 

Uses

D2D Tablets uses:
As per the manufacturer’s claims, -tt is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment of Dyspepsia, Flatulence, Indigestion, anorexia and Sour belching.

Effect on dosha

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata and Pitta.

Dose and duration of use

D2D Tablets Dose:
Chew slowly 1-2 tabs of D2D before or after meals as per indications.Treatment should be continued for 2 – 5 days, and then as and when required.

How long to take? 
It can be taken for up to 1 month, based on doctor’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Nimbusar – Lemon juice extract
Imlisar – Tamarind extract
Nava Sagar – Ammonium chloride
Jeeraka – Cumin – Cuminum cyminum (safed),
Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum
Sunth – Shunti – Ginger Rhizome – Zingiber officinalis
Piper – Pippali – Long pepper fruit – Piper longum
Amla – Indian gooseberry fruit – Emblica officinalis Gaertn.
Hingu – Asa foetida
Sajikhar – Kshara of Sarja – Copal tree resin – Vateria indica
Ajowan Phul – Ajwain
Chitraka – Lead Wort (root) – Plumbago zeylanica
Harde – Haritaki – Chebulic Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia chebula

Side effects and precautions

Side effects and precautions: 
It is better to take this medicine under medical supervision.
It contains salt ingredients, hence care should be taken while prescribing this medicine to hypertensive patients.
Children, pregnant ladies and lactating mothers should take this medicine only under medical supervision.
keep out of reach and sight of children.
Over-dosage or taking medicine for a longer period of time, than prescribed may cause gastric irritation, loose stools.
Store in a cool dry place.
Take this medicine only till the prescribed time, in the prescribed dose only.
