M-Cof Syrup uses:
As per the claims of manufacturer, it is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment of cough, soar throat and rhinitis.
Effect on dosha
Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata and Kapha.
Dose and duration of use
M-Cof Syrup Dose:
1 teaspoonful, three times a day, after food or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
How long to take?
It can be taken for upto 1-2 months, based on doctor’s advice.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Pippali – Long pepper fruit – Piper longum – 6 g
Yashtimadhu – Licorice – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 6 g
Vasa – Malabar nut tree (root / whole plant) – Adhatoda vasica – 6 g
Tulasi – Holy Basil – Ocimum sanctum – 6 g
Shallaki – Resin – Boswellia serrata – 6 g
300 mg each of
Ela – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum
Twak – Cinnamon – Cinnamomum zeylanicum
Patra – Cinnamomum tamala
Shunti – Ginger Rhizome – Zingiber officinalis
Jiraka – Cumin – Cuminum cyminum
Kaempferia galangal
Karpoora – Camphor – Cinnamomum camphora

Side effects and precautions
Side effects and precautions:
It is best to take this medicine should only be taken under strict medical supervision.
This is not suitable for diabetic patients.
Special precaution is needed while prescribing this medicine to children, pregnant and lactating mothers.
over-dosage may cause slight burning sensation in stomach.
Store in a cool dry place.
Use this medicine only till the prescribed time, in the prescribed dose only.
