Prasoota Syrup and Capsules are proprietary Ayurvedic medicines, manufactured by Ajmera Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. Indore. It is used in the treatment of puerperal fever, endometritis etc.

Uses

Prasoota Syrup and Capsule uses: As per the claims made by the manufacturer, it is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment of Puerperal fever, fatigue, restlessness, debility, defective lactation, leucorrhea, endometritis, parametritis.

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Pitta and Vata

Dose and duration of use

Prasoota Syrup and Capsule Dose:
1 – 2 capsules two times a day, before or after food as directed by physician.

Syrup – 2 – 3 teaspoonful two times a day or as directed by physician.

How long to take? 
It can be taken for upto 1-2 weeks, based on doctor’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Shatavari – Asparagus racemosus – 30 mg
Ashwagandha – Winter Cherry / Indian ginseng (root) – Withania somnifera – 30 mg
Jiraka – Cumin seed – Cuminum cyminum – 30 mg
Ajamoda – Ajowan seed – Trachyspermum ammi – 20 mg
Sutikari Ras – 20 mg
Vanga Bhasma – Bhasma of Tin – 20 mg
Kukkutanda Twak Bhasma – calx of egg shell – 20 mg
Mandura Bhasma – Calx of Iron oxide – 20 mg
Pravala Bhasma – Bhasma (Calx) of Coral – 10 mg

Side effects and precautions

Side effects and precautions:
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
It should be taken under strict medical supervision. Take this medicine only if your Ayurveda doctor has prescribed it to you.
Store in a cool dry place, in an air tight container, away from direct sunlight.
Use this medicine only till the prescribed time and in the prescribed dose only.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy, lactation and in children.
Over-dosage may cause gastritis, heart burn symptoms in people with sensitive stomach.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
