Uses and effect on dosha

Raktshodhak Syrup uses: It is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment for acne, dermatitis, skin allergies, urticaria, boils, skin rashes and scabies.

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Pitta.

Dose and duration of use

Raktshodhak Syrup Dose: 
Adults: 1 – 2 teaspoonful, 2 times a day,
Children: 1 teaspoonful, 2 times a day or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.

How long to take? 
It can be taken for upto 1 – 2 months, based on doctor’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Each 5 ml contains
200 mg each of
Anantamoola – Sariva – Indian Sarsaparila – Hemidesmus indicus
Khadira – Black Catechu (heart wood extract) – Acacia catechu
Amrita Satva – Extract of Guduchi – Indian Tinospora (stem) – Tinospora cordifolia
Triphala – Haritaki, Vibhitaki, Amalaki
Nimba – Neem – Azadirachta indica
100 mg each of
Kanchanara – Bauhinia variegata
Kiratatikta – Swertia chirata
50 mg each of
Chopachini – Smilax china
Manjishta – Indian Madder (root) – Rubia cordifolia
Raktachandana – Pterocarpus santalinus
Haridra – Turmeric rhizome – Curcuma longa
Aragwadha – Pudding Pipe tree – Cassia fistula
Daru Haridra – Tree Turmeric (stem) – Berberis aristata
Bakuchi seeds – Psoralia corylifolia
Gulab – Rose petals
Katuki – Picrorhiza kurroa
Karani
Vijayasara – Asana – Indian Kino tree (heart wood) – Pterocarpus marsupium

Side effects

Side effect: 
Diabetic people should take this medicine should only be taken under medical supervision.
keep out of reach and sight of children.
Over-dosage or taking medicine for a longer period of time, than prescribed may cause burning sensation in stomach.
Store in a cool dry place.
Take this medicine only till the prescribed time, in the prescribed dose only.
