It is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment of indigestion, flatulence, nausea, vomiting and Travel sickness.
Effect on dosha
Effect on Tridosha – Balances Pitta and Vata.
Dose and duration of use
Cordig Tablet Dose:
1-2 teaspoonful three times a day, before or after food as directed by physician.
How long to take?
It can be taken for up to 1 – 2 months, based on doctor’s advice.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Each tablet contains
Panchalavana – group of five salts – 30 mg each
Triphala – Haritaki, Vibhitaki, Amalaki – each 30 mg
20 mg each of
Trikatu – Pepper, Long pepper and ginger
Jeeraka – Cumin – Cuminum cyminum
Sharapunkha – Tephrosia purpurea
10 mg each of
Pippalimoola – Long pepper root – Piper longum
Vidanga – False black pepper – Embelia ribes
Bhringaraja – Eclipta alba
Ela – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum
Taleesa Patra – leaves of Abies webbiana
Patra – Cinnamomum tamala
Shankha Bhasma – Bhasma of Conch Shell
0.5 mg of Nimboo satwa – Ctric Acid.
Side effects and precautions
Side effects and precautions:
This medicine contains salt ingredient. Hence care should be exercised while administering to high BP patients.
It should only be taken under strict medical supervision.
It is best to avoid giving this medicine to children, pregnant ladies and lactating mothers.
Over-dosage or taking medicine for a longer period of time, than prescribed may cause heart burn.

Store in a cool dry place.
Special care is required while prescribing this medicine for children, pregnant and lactating mothers.
Take this medicine only till the prescribed time, in the prescribed dose only.
