Kayyanyadi Keratailam Benefits, How To Use, Ingredients, Side Effects

Kayyanyadi Keratailam is an Ayurvedic oil used in the treatment of  split hairs, grey hairs, hair fall, eye and teeth disorders. This oil is based on Kerala Ayurveda tradition. It is also called Kanjunnyadi kera tailam

Uses

It is used in the treatment of split hairs, hair fall, baldness and grey hairs.
It strengthens teeth and is good for eyes.
Suitable for those with head ache.

Mode Of Application

It is used to apply over the scalp.
It is used as a hair oil.

How to wash off the hair oil?
Wait for at least 30 minutes before washing hair. Longer the delay, better (except for very oily hairs). It is best to use herbal hair wash powders to wash off the hair oil. One or two rounds of wash with hair wash powder will get rid off oil from hair. It is very fine, even if some amount of oiliness remains on the hair.
Traditional treatises mention cold water to wash hair and face. (Reference: Ashtanga Sangraha, Sutrasthana, Dinacharya chapter). But to wash oily hair, lukewarm water can also be used. Avoid very hot water for hair wash.
Some people mix a teaspoon of onion juice to this oil, before application. If you do it, then you need to wash the hair in 3 – 60 minutes time, or else, onion juice can leave bad smell on hair.

Side Effects

There are no side effects with this oil on external application.
