Chaturbhuj Ras – Benefits, Dosage, Ingredients, Side Effects

Chaturbhuj Ras is an Ayurvedic medicine with herbal and mineral ingredients. It is used in treating chronic fever, epilepsy and psychotic disorders. This medicine should only be taken strictly under medical supervision.

Benefits

Used in the Ayurvedic treatment of chronic fever, emaciation, Parkinson’s diseases, Epilepsy, Psychotic diseases, and paralysis.

Dosage

(125 mg) 1 tablet 2 times a day after food. Or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Side Effects

Accidental ingestion of dose higher than prescribed may lead to severe neurological side effects. If you have ingested a higher dose, immediately consult your doctor.

This medicine should be avoided during pregnancy and lactation and for children.

Self medication with this medicine may prove to be dangerous.

Take this medicine in precise dose and for limited period of time, as advised by doctor.

Hema Bhasma – Gold Bhasma

Shilajatu – Asphaltum

Kasturika – Musk

Tala – Purified and processed Orpiment (Arsenic Tri Oxide)

Kanya – Aloe vera

Eranda – Castor leaves – Ricinus communis

Some companies promote this product as – Chaturbhuj Ras with gold. Such a claim is not needed, as it already contains Gold Bhasma as an ingredient. If it does not contain gold, it can not be called as Chaturbhuj Ras.
