    • As per Ayurveda, Angina is a Vata imbalance condition. All the suggested medicines balance Vata and hence, they may be prescribed to you. They are also useful in correcting digestion and constipation symptoms that you may have.

  5. Hi Dr,

I have acid reflux. I have been advised to have jirakadyarishta along with chitrakadi vati. Is that fine?

    Thanks in advance.

    • If your digestion strength is low then both these medicines are useful to improve digestion power. But Chitrakadi vati in some may cause worsening of acid reflux. You will have to try with it for a week time and then decide further with your doctor.

  6. Include more of cucumber, cinnamon, cumin seeds, cardamom, ash gourd, curry leaves, asa foetida, dry grapes in your diet.
If possible, have aloe vera juice / sugarless grape juice at least two times a week.
If you feel that acidity increases whenever stomach is empty, have Marie biscuits with you and eat two biscuits, once in every two hours.
Soak five almonds and raisins (dry grapes) in water at night. Next day morning, throw away the water, eat raisins, peel the skin of almond and eat it.
Crush cumin seeds into fine powder. add half tea-spoon of cumin seeds to one liter of water. boil the water for two minutes and filter. Drink this water, in place of normal water. But new water needs to be made everyday.

  7. Hi, Since it is only 2 months after delivery, do not worry about fat reduction. Weight reduction can be planned after 3rd month time.
Dashamoolarishta is useful for weight reduction.

  13. I had Normal delivery a month back. I have platelet function disorder due to which I suffered post partum bleeding. Now slight bleeding is still there. As a part of post natal care I was asked to take a mixture of dasamoolarishta and jeerakarishta (40ml twice daily)and also abhayarishta( 30ml twice) and after finishing these was asked to start ashokarishta. But due to the fear of bleeding I haven’t started taking these yet. Is it OK to take these and if so in what dose?
