Collasyn Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Dr. Palep’s Pharmaceuticals. It is a revolutionary concept for all cardiovascular and ageing complications.

Mode of action of Collasyn Tablet:
Collasyn is an Arjuna based poly-herbal formulation which acts as an excellent cardiac tonic and cardio-protective.
Improves ventricular ejection fraction.
Decreases serum cholesterol.
Anti-depressant and anti-oxidant.
Re-mineralizes bones and prevents osteoporosis.
Re-builds collagen matrix and improves skin elasticity.
Hepato-protective and nephron-protective.

Ingredients of Collasyn Tablet:
Each tablet contains extracts of –
Arjuna [Terminalia arjuna] – 20 mg
Guduchi [Tinospora cordifolia] – 20 mg
Haritaki [Terminalia chebula] – 25 mg
Bala [Sida cordifolia] – 25 mg
Sringataka [Trapa bispinosa] – 35 mg
Amalaki [Embelica officinalis] – 100 mg
Ashwagandha [Withania somnifera] – 30 mg
Yastimadhu [Glycyrrhiza glabra] – 50 mg
Sariva [Hemidesmus indica] – 50 mg
Guggulu [Commiphora mukul] – 50 mg – Guggul is one of the most used Ayurvedic herb. Its oleo-gum resin is used as binding agent in many tablets. Guggulu’s unique properties of decreasing cholesterol level and relieving joint inflammation find it as an essential ingredient of numerous Ayurvedic medicines.
Mineral pitch – 50 mg
Gokshura [Tribulus terrestris] – 10 mg
Vibhitaki [Terminalia bellerica] – 10 mg – Bibhitaki, also known as Baheda in Hindi, is one among three fruits of Triphala. Its actual Sanskrit name is Vibheetaki. Bheeta means, fear. Vibheeta means lack of fear and Vibhitaki means the fruit that takes away the fear of disease

Indications

Indication of Collasyn Tablet:
Hypertension
Unstable angina
Hyper-cholesteremia
Cardiomyopathy
Menopausal symptoms
As an adjuvant in chemotherapy and radio therapy
Diabetes mallitus

Dose

Dosage of Collasyn Tablet:
1 tablet twice a day with milk, or as directed by the physician.
How long to use?
It can be safely used for a period of 2 – 3 months time, with gradual decrease in dosage.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Side effects of Collasyn Tablet:
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
People with diabetes and hypertension should seek medical advice before taking this medicine. Store in a cool dry place, in an air tight container, away from direct sunlight.
