Cirrhonil Syrup: Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side Effects

Cirrhonil Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Simandhar Pharmaceuticals. It is a hepato-protective medicine used in the treatment of liver disorders. 

Ingredients of Cirrhonil Syrup:
Kiratatikta [Swertia chirata] – Kiratatikta is a very famous Ayurvedic herb used mainly in the treatment of infectious and inflammatory conditions like fever, skin diseases etc. The word meaning of Kirata tikta is – utterly bitter.
Guduchi [Tinospora cordifolia]
Katuki [Picrorrhiza kurroa]
Sharapunkha [Tephrosia purpurea] – It is a famous Ayurvedic herb used in liver cirrhosis and splenomegaly.
Kakamachi [Solanum nigrum]
Arjuna [Terminalia arjuna]
Punarnava [Boerhaavia diffusa]
Trikatu [Zingiber officinale, Piper longum, Piper nigrum]
Gokshura [Tribulus terrestris]

Indication of Cirrhonil Syrup:
Jaundice
Drug induced hepatitis
Infective hepatitis
Fatty liver
Sluggish liver loss of appetite

Dosage of Cirrhonil Syrup: 15 ml twice or thrice a day, or as directed by your Ayurvedic doctor.
How long to use?
It can be safely used for a period of 2 – 3 months time, with gradual decrease in dosage.

Side effects of Cirrhonil Syrup:
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.

This product is not suitable for people with diabetes.
