Each coated tablet contains –
Gudmar [Gymnema sylvestre] – 100 mg
Saptarangi [Salacia reticulata] – 100 mg
Amalaki [Embelica officinalis] – 50 mg
Haritaki [Terminalia chebula] – 50 mg
Haridra [Curcuma longa] – 50 mg
Karavellaka [Momordica charantia] – 50 mg – Bitter gourd or Bitter melon, botanically, Momordica charantia is a well known Indian vegetable, useful for the treatment of diabetes, intestinal worms, sin disease, wounds and acts as blood purifier.
Methi [Trigonella foenumgraecum] – 50 mg. Fenugreek is called Methi in Hindi. Methi seeds improve digestion, useful in anorexia and diabetes. Fenugreek leaves are used as vegetable across India.
Nimba [Azadirachta indica] – 50 mg
Micronized & potentised with –
Gudmar [Gymnema sylvestre] – 150 mg
Saptarangi [Salacia reticulata] – 150 mg

Methi [Trigonella foenumgraecum] – 150 mg
Karavellaka [Momordica charantia] – 150 mg
Katuki [Picrorrhiza kurroa] – 100 mg
Haridra [Curcuma longa] – 90 mg
Amalaki [Embelica officinalis] – 90 mg
Nimba [Azadirachta indica] – 60 mg
Tulasi [Ocimum sanctum] – 60 mg
Haritaka [Terminalia chebula] – 60 mg
Indication
Indication of Carbomet Compound:
Type 2 diabetes
Type 1 diabetes to protect from complications
Borderline diabetes
Diabetic neuropathy & retinopathy as an adjuvant.
Dose, duration of use
Dosage of Carbomet Compound:
2 tablet with 2 tsp syrup twice or thrice daily, till sugar level is controlled, or as directed by your Ayurvedic doctor.
1 tablet with 1 tsp syrup twice or thrice a day, for maintenance, or as directed by your Ayurvedic doctor.
The dosage may be adjusted or modified as per the severity of the disorder.
How long to use?
It can be safely used for a period of 2 – 3 months time, with gradual decrease in dosage.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Side effects of Carbomet Compound:
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
Over dosage may result in hypoglycemia.
Store in a cool dry place, in an air tight container, away from direct sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
