Calci-7 Tablet: Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side Effects

Calci-7 Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Virgo UAP Pharmaceuticals. Calci-7 is the combination of minerals, rich with natural calcium. Calci-7 is very effective for all type of disorders caused by the deficiency of the calcium.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Calci-7 Tablet:
Jaharamohara bhasma – 16 mg
Shukti bhasma – 32 mg
Kapardika bhasma – 80 mg – Kapardika Bhasma is an Ayurvedic medicine, prepared from Cowries. It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of indigestion, boils, Pitta diseases etc.
Mrigashringa bhasma – 80 mg – Shring Bhasma is an Ayurvedic medicine prepared from Deer horn. It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of heart burn, gastric pain, abdominal colic, asthma etc.
Pravala bhasma – 48 mg – calx of coral
Shankha bhasma – 64 mg – calx of conch
Godanti bhasma – 80 mg – calx of gypsum

Uses

Indication of Calci-7 Tablet:
Osteoporosis
Osteomalacia
Rickets
As a natural calcium supplement.

Dose, duration of use

Dosage of Calci-7 Tablet:
1-2 tablets twice a day, or as directed by the physician.

How long to use?
It can be safely used for a period of 2 – 3 months time, with gradual decrease in dosage.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
