777 Oil: Benefits, How To Use, Ingredients, Side Effects

777 Oil is a proprietary Siddha medicine manufactured by Dr. JRK’s Pharma. It is indicated in psoriasis.

777 Oil is prepared with Wrightia tinctoria through a unique process. This formula was invented by Dr. J.R. Krishnamoorthy and the company later took initiative to evaluate the drug in various hospitals in different parts of India. 

The drug is widely accepted and its clinical efficacy has been acknowledged by clinical practitioners across all systems of medicine and several patients have been benefited from using it from the past 20 years, and it has also been established that patients experienced prolonged period of remission period with daily usage.
777 Oil has found a definite place in the safe and effective treatment approaches for the management of the global problem of psoriasis.

Ingredients

Ingredients of 777 Oil:
It is a dark magenta colored oil with distinct odour containing plant extracts of-
Shwetha kutaja [Wrightia tinctoria]- 50 %

In oil base of- Coconut oil – Narikela taila [Cocos nucifera]- 50 %

Method of preparation

How to prepare?
10 part of coconut oil is mixed with 1 part of leaves of Wrightia tinctoria. This mix is kept under direct sunlight for 7 – 10 days of time. Then the oil is filtered and stored in air tight containers. It is prepared as per Suryapaka method of Ayurvedic oil preparation.

Indication of 777 Oil:
Psoriasis
Dandruff
First degree burns
Fungal dermatosis
Dry skin
Itchyosis
Aphthous ulcers of mouth
Ulcerative gingivitis
Atopic dermatosis.

Direction for use of 777 Oil:
Apply over the affected part or all over the body in the morning, expose to sunlight and after 15 min take bath.

Application on feet

Oil application over feet

Precaution if you apply this oil over feet:
If you apply this oil on feet, make sure to wash off thoroughly with water or wipe off with cloth. The oil can make you slippery while walking.
After applying, make sure there are no oil spills on the floor. This can make the floor slippery.

Side effects, package

Side effects of 777 Oil:
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Store in a cool dry place.

Pet bottles of 100 ml & 200 ml.
HDPE containers of 500 ml & 1000 ml.

During pregnancy, lactation

If you were using this oil before pregnancy without any allergic reaction, you can continue using this oil even during pregnancy.
If you have not used this product before and wish to use it during pregnancy, better to consult a doctor because it can cause skin allergy in some rare cases.
It is generally considered as safe to use during lactation, however consult your doctor for the right advice.

Can this product be applied after steam therapy?
No. Oil is best applied before steam therapy. This is as per basic Ayurvedic principles.

    • This oil alone might cure a very mild psoriasis in about 2 – 3 weeks. But if the psoriasis is present for a long period of time, this oil alone might not be sufficient.

    • Yes, but allergy patch test should be conducted. Apply a few drops of this oil on the arm of the baby. if the baby develops redness and itching, avoid it.It is always better to consult an Ayurveda doctor directly, especially for children.
