Varavisaladi Kashayam is a herbal decoction used for the treatment of hysteria, psychosis, epilepsy, pruritus, cachexia, delusion, etc.

Uses of Varavisaladi Kashayam:

  • It is highly useful in hysteria, psychosis, epilepsy, pruritus, cachexia, delusion, loss of memory, poor digestion,asthma, anemia, poison, diabetes, fever, hypomenorrhoea.

Ingredients of Varavisaladi Kashayam:

  • Vara (Tinospora cordifolia)
  • Visala (Citrulus colocynthis)
  • Bhadraila (Amomum subulatum)
  • Devadaru (Cedrus deodara)
  • Elavaluka (Prunus avium)
  • Dwaisariva (Hemidesmus indicus)
  • Dwairajani (Curcuma longa, Berberis aristata)
  • Dwaisthira
  • Phalini (Randia dumetorum)
  • Nata (Caesalpinia crista)
  • Brahathi (Solanum indicum)
  • Kusta (Saussurea lappa)
  • Manjista (Rubia cordifolia)
  • Nagakesara (Mesua ferrea)
  • Dadima (Punica granatum)
  • Vella
  • Talisapatra (Cinnamomum tamala)
  • Ela (Ellateria cardamomum)
  • Malatimukula
  • Utpala (Nymphaea alba)

Dosage of Varavisaladi Kashayam:
5-15 ml to be mixed with three times of boiled and cooled water, twice daily.
