A-3 Forte Capsule: Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side effects

It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by ALOPA HERBALS pharmaceuticals, Bhuvanagiri, Bangalore. A-3 Forte is the well accepted antipyretic, analgesic and antibacterial without any side effects. Fever is usually caused by bacterial or viral infections and can accompany any infectious disease from common cold to malaria. When pain and fever accompany infections, the need of the day is A-3 Forte capsule/syrup.

Uses

Uses of A-3 Forte Capsule:
Guduchi, Bhumyamalaki, Tribhuvanakeerti rasa, Katuki, Sudarshana choorna in A-3 Forte reduces raised temperatures.
Jatamamsi, Katuki, Shallaki, Tulasi relieves pain.
Haridra, Triphala, Guduchi and Tulasi provide antimicrobial activity and avoid infection.
Haridra, Triphala, Bhumyamalaki possess potential antioxidant activity and improves immunity.
Shallaki, Haridra, Tulasi demonstrate anti-inflammatory action.

Composition

Composition of A-3 Forte Capsule:
Bhumyamalaki (Phylanthus niruri)- 100 mg- antipyretic, anti-viral.
Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia)- 200 mg- antipyretic, antioxidant.
Haridra (Curcuma longa)- 100 mg- anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial.
Jatamamsi (Nardostachys jatamansi)- 25 mg- analgesic.
Katuki (Picrorrhiza kurroa)- 100 mg- antipyretic.
Musta (Cyprus rotendus)- 50 mg- digestive.
Shallaki (Boswellia serrata)- 200 mg- anti-inflammatory.
Sudarshana choorna- 100 mg- antipyretic.
Tribhuvanakeerti rasa – 100 mg- antipyretic.
Triphala (Embelica officinale, Terminalia chebula, Terminalia bellerica)- 50 mg- antibacterial, antioxidant.
Tulasi (Ocimum sanctum)- 100 mg- anti-inflammatory, antibacterial.

Indication

Indication of A-3 Forte Capsule:
Immunity deficiency disorders.
Secondary bacterial infections.
Viral infections.

Dose

Dosage of A-3 Forte Capsule:
1 capsule 4 times a day.
In viral fever- 2 capsule 4 times a day, for 3 days.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
