Glysikot Granule helps to manage diabetic symptoms using a multi pronged approach.It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal. Glysikot is a combination of 5 well-known anti-diabetic herbs.

This unique herbal combination helps to manage diabetes.
This could be used as an adjuvant remedy in diabetic related complications effectively.

Indication

Indication of Glysikot Granules:
Diabetes mellitus.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Glysikot Granules:
Each 5g of Glysikot Granule is prepared out of-
Amrita (Tinospora cordifolia)- stem- 0.416g
Abhaya (Terminalia chebula)- fruit rind-0.416g
Dhatri (Embelica officinale)- fruit rind-0.833g
Ratri (Curcuma longa)- rhizome- 0.833g
Meharimula (Salacia reticulate)- root- 2.5g
Preservative-Methyl Paraben Sodium, Propyl Paraben Sodium.

Dose

Dosage of Glysikot Granules:
5g 2 – 3 times a day, before or after food, as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Side effects, package

Side effects of Glysikot Granules:
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
Safe in pregnancy induced diabetes also.
Should be taken under medical supervision.

  1. I have just purchased this bottle from Guruyavour (kerala). This is to be taken three times (after breakfast, lunch & dinner) with warm water, each dose should be five gram…am i correct on dosage part?

  3. Sir, I have bought Glysikot granules today in Mangalore from Kottakkal Arya Vaidya sala. The consultation doctor advised me to take it with butter milk in the empty stomach both in the morning and evening b4 meals. I would like to know whether to take this alone or with Vairyadi kashayam as some body has mention in the column for better results. Kindly advice.

  4. It was advised to take after food and 3 Times per day.

    1 Tea spoon directly put it in the mouth and drink with water.

    Please confirm above method is ok.
