Shishutone Syrup is a safe herbo-mineral paediatric preparation. It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Capro Labs exports India Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore. Shishutone is a novel concept to develop a healthy body and mind in infants and children. Shishutone does not contain any synthetic chemicals or toxic substances. Hence it is remarkably safe in children.

Efficacy of Shishutone Syrup:
It is an Ayurvedic tonic.
Builds up body resistance particularly against gastro-intestinal and respiratory tract infections.
Improves appetite and digestion.
Prevents and treats indigestion, intestinal colic, constipation, diarrhea, grips and cough.

Composition

Composition of Shishutone Syrup:
Each 10 ml contains-
Swarna ksheeri- root & seed (Argemone mexicana)- 5 mg
Vacha-rhizome (Acorus calamus)- 10 mg
Punarnava-herb (Boerhaavia diffusa)- 10 mg
Kasisa (Ferric sulphate)- 5 mg
Kutaja-bark (Holarrhena antidysentrica)- 10 mg
Ambuja-rhizome (Limnophila gratioloides)- 5 mg
Chavika-fruit (Piper cubeba)- 10 mg
Yavanika-seed (Ptycotis ajowan)- 15 mg
Pippali-fruit (Piper longum)- 15 mg
Shunti-rhizome (Zingiber officinale)- 15 mg
Preservatives (In a flavored syrup base)- q.s.

Dose

Dosage of Shishutone Syrup:
For infants up to 1 month- ½ tea spoon thrice daily.
For children of 1-6 months- 1 tea spoon thrice daily.
For children of 6 months-3 years- 2 tea spoon thrice daily.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
