Navoushad Taila: Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side effects

Navoushad Taila is used for application over the head and the body. It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Everest Ayurveda pharma, Thrissur, Kerala. 

Uses

Indication of Navoushad Taila:
Provides more power and strength to work with mind and body
Cools the body, improves the memory power and intelligence and gives sound sleep.

Application on feet

Oil application over feet

Precaution if you apply this oil over feet:
If you apply this oil on feet, make sure to wash off thoroughly with water or wipe off with cloth. The oil can make you slippery while walking.
After applying, make sure there are no oil spills on the floor. This can make the floor slippery.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Navoushad Taila:
Each 10 ml is prepared out of-
Yashti (Glycyrrhiza glabra)- 225 mg
Pathya (Terminalia chebula)- 225 mg
Dhatri (Embelica officinale)- 225 mg
Aksha (Terminalia bellerica)- 225 mg
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera)- 225 mg
Vari (Asperagus racemosus)- 225 mg
Kerataila (Coconut oil)- 5.78 ml
Erandataila (Castor oil)- 4.22 ml
Karpoora (Cinnamomum camphora)- 0.03 g

Direction for use

Direction for use of Navoushad Taila:
Apply to the head and body 15 minutes before bath, or as directed by the physician.

Side effects, package

Side effects of Navoushad Taila:
For external application only
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.

Bottle of 100 ml & 450 ml

During pregnancy, lactation

If you were using this oil before pregnancy without any allergic reaction, you can continue using this oil even during pregnancy.
If you have not used this product before and wish to use it during pregnancy, better to consult a doctor because it can cause skin allergy in some rare cases.
It is generally considered as safe to use during lactation, however consult your doctor for the right advice.

Can this product be applied after steam therapy?
No. Oil is best applied before steam therapy. This is as per basic Ayurvedic principles.
