Krimighatini Bati – Benefits, Ingredients, Reference, Side Effects

Krimighatini Bati is an Ayurvedic medicine used in the treatment of intestinal worm infestation, vomiting sensation, inflammatory conditions etc. This medicine is mainly used in North Indian Ayurvedic clinical practice. 

Uses, effect on dosha

Krimighatini Bati Uses: It is used in the Ayurvedic treatment of
Nausea – Hrullasa
Tiredness – Sadana
Inflammation, edema – Shotha
Abdominal colic pain – Shoola
Excessive sneezing – Kshavatu
Running nose, rhinitis – Peenasa
Anorexia, hatred towards food – Bhaktadvesha
Fever – Jwara
People with weight loss – Karshya
Vomiting – Vamana
Constipation – Vit Vibandha
All types of intestinal worm infestation – Vimshati Krimi

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata, Pitta and Kapha.

Dose, duration of use

Krimighatini Vati dosage:
500 – 1000 mg, once or twice daily, before or after food, as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.

How long to use: It is administered for a period of 15 -45 days based on doctor’s discretion.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Krimighatini Gutika side effects:
Self medication with this medicine may prove to be dangerous, since it contains Trivrit.
Over-dosage may cause twitching abdominal pain and diarrhoea.
Take this medicine in precise dose and for limited period of time, as advised by doctor.
It is best avoided in pregnancy and lactation.
Keep out of reach and sight of children. Store in a dry cool place.

Ingredients, method of preparation

Krimighatini Bati ingredients, how to make:
Shashilekha – Bakuchi – Psoralea corylifolia – 10 grams
Haridra – Turmeric – 10 grams
Pippali – Long pepper – 10 grams
Kampillaka – Mallotus philippinensis – 10 grams
Shuddha Gairika – Purified Red Ochre – 10 grams
Trivrit Moola – Root of Operculina turpethum – 10 grams
Shiva- Haritaki – Terminalia chebula – 10 grams
Palasha Beeja – Seeds of Butea monosperma – 10 grams
Fine powder of above ingredients is taken, it is ground with water and pills of 500 mg are prepared, dried.

शशिलेखा निशा कृष्णा काम्पिल्लो गिरिमृत्तिका ।
त्रिवृन्मूलं शिवा बीजं पलाशस्य समं समम् ॥
सम्मर्द्य वारिणा कार्या चतुर्गुञ्जामिता वटी ।
हृल्लासं सदनं शोथं शूलक्षवथु पीनसान् ॥
भक्तद्वेषं ज्वरं कार्श्यं वमनं विड् विबद्धताम् ।
क्रिमींश्च विंशतिविधान् नाशयेत् क्रिमिघातिनी ॥
śaśilekhā niśā kṛṣṇā kāmpillo girimṛttikā |
trivṛnmūlaṃ śivā bījaṃ palāśasya samaṃ samam ||
sammardya vāriṇā kāryā caturguñjāmitā vaṭī |
hṛllāsaṃ sadanaṃ śothaṃ śūlakṣavathu pīnasān ||
bhaktadveṣaṃ jvaraṃ kārśyaṃ vamanaṃ viḍ vibaddhatām |
