Shilajitwadi Bati (Swarna Yukta) Benefits, Dose, content, Side Effects

Shilajitwadi Bati is an Ayurvedic medicine, in tablet form containing herbal and mineral ingredients, used mainly in the treatment of diabetes and sexual disorders. There are many versions of this tablet. This one is Swarna yukta – meaning it contains Swarna bhasma (gold calx). 

Uses

Shilajitwadi Bati uses –
It is used in the treatment of
Diabetes, urinary tract disorders – Prameha
Spermatorrhoea, Dhat syndrome, passing of semen along with urine etc – Shukrameha
It is useful in the treatment of premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction.
This product also acts as a natural source of Iron.

Shilajitvati Bati ingredients –
Shijait – Asphaltum
Abhraka Bhasma – Calx of Silica
Hema – Swarna Bhasma – Calx of Gold
Loha Bhasma – Calx of Ion
Guggulu – Commiphora mukul
Tankana – Borax calx
Kesharaja – Bhringaraja – Eclipta alba

Method of preparation and administration

Method of preparation –
The Shilajit, Bhasmas of Abhraka, Swarna, Loha, Tankana and Guggulu – all these are taken in equal proportions.
The mixture is ground with the juice extract of Kesharaja for three days. Pills of 1 Valla (3 ratti – 375 mg) are prepared, dried and stored.

Method of administration –
This medicine is to be administered in the morning, before / after food along with decoction of Shaivala (Evolvulus alsinoides).
Dose is 1 tablet per day.
