Pathrina Tablets – Benefits, Dosage, Ingredients, Side Effects

Pathrina Tablets is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine, manufactured by Baidyanath Ayurved Bhawan. It is used in the Renal calculi.

Uses

Pathrina Tablets uses:
As per the claims of manufacturer, it is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment of Renal calculi and gravels. It has diuretic effect.

Effect on dosha

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata, Kapha.

Dose and duration of use

Pathrina Tablets Dose: 
2 tablets two times a day, or as directed by Physician.

How long to take? 
It can be taken for up to 1-2 months, based on doctor’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Yava Kshara – Kshara of Barley – Hordeum vulgare
Brihadela – Amomum subulatum  – Badi Elaichi
Gokshura – Small caltrops (whole plant) – Tribulus terrestris Linn. – Gokhru
Pashan bhed  – Bergenia ligulata,
Hazrulyhud Bhasma,
Sagoon beej – Tectona grandis,
Varuna – Crataeva nurvala – Barun chal
Apamarga – Achyarnthes aspera –
Shuddha Shilajatu – Puirified Asphaltum punjabinum
Manjistha – Rubia cordifolia,
Nagarmotha – Cyperus rotundus,
Tulsi – Ocimum sanctum
Punarnava – Boerhaavia diffusa 

Side effects and precautions

Side effects and precautions: 
It is better to take this medicine only under strict medical supervision.
It is best to avoid giving this medicine to children, pregnant ladies and lactating mothers.
People with hypertension should take special precaution, since this tablet has diuretic effect.
Diabetic people may observe increased frequency of micturition.
Accidental over-dosage may cause excessive urination.
Store in a cool dry place.
Use this medicine only till the prescribed time, in the prescribed dose only.

    • Hello sir, It ensures removal of impurities from the kidney and clears the urinary tract. Reduces water retention and prevent super saturation of urine.
