Madhumehari Yog tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine, manufactured by Baidyanath Ayurved Bhawan. It is used in the treatment of Diabetes.

Uses

Madhumehari Yog tablets uses:
As per the claims of manufacturer, it is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment of Diabetes mellitus and insipidus. Useful to relieve frequent urination, dryness of throat and debility associated with diabetes.

Effect on dosha

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata, Pitta and Kapha.

Dose and duration of use

Madhumehari Yog Dose: 
2 – 3 tablets two times a day with water, or as directed by Physician.

How long to take? 
It can be taken for up to 1 month, based on doctor’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Trivanga Bhasma – Bhasma (calx) prepared from Purified Lead, Tin and Zinc.
Nimba – Neem – Azadirachta indica – leaves (Neem Pati)
Jambu – Jamon – Eugenia jambolana – seed
Shuddha Shilajit – Purified Asphaltum punjabinum
Swarna Bhasma – Bhasma of Gold
Opium
Groud with decoctions of
Gularpatti, Giloya (Guduchi – Indian Tinospora (stem) – Tinospora cordifolia) and Vijaysar – (Asana – Indian Kino tree (heart wood) – Pterocarpus marsupium)

Side effects and precautions

Side effects and precautions: 
It should be taken only under strict medical supervision.
It is best to avoid giving this medicine to children, pregnant ladies and lactating mothers.
Accidental over-dosage may cause excessive sleepiness, lowering of blood glucose levels, gastric irritation.
Store in a cool dry place. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Use this medicine only till the prescribed time, in the prescribed dose only.
