Lavanyasudha is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine, manufactured by Mukthi Pharma, Trivendrum. It is used in the treatment for leucorrhoea, menopausal complaints etc

Lavanyasudha uses:
As per the claims of manufacturer, it is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment for Leucorrhoea, irregular menstruation, profuse uterine bleeding, painful menstruation, heart burn, backache, general debility, and complaints associated with menopause.

Effect on dosha

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata and Pitta.

Dose and duration of use

Lavanyasudha Dose:
1 tablespoon two times a day before food in the morning and after food in the evening, or as directed by physician.

How long to take?
It can be taken for upto 2 – 3 months, based on doctor’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Shatavari – Asparagus racemosus root – 60 ml
Mushali – Black Musale – Curculigo orchiodes – 20 ml
Ipomoea paniculata – 20 ml
Musta – Nut grass (root) – Cyperus rotundus – 4 g
Amalaki – Indian gooseberry fruit – Emblica officinalis Gaertn. – 4 g
Vibhitaki – Belliric Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia bellirica – 4 g
Haritaki – Chebulic Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia chebula – 4 g
Usheera – Khus Khus – Vetiveria zizanioides – 2 g
Ela – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum – 800 mg
Gokshura – Small caltrops (whole plant) – Tribulus terrestris Linn. – 2 g
Twak – Cinnamon – Cinnamomum zeylanicum – 800 mg
Pogostemon heyneanus – 800 mg
Jiraka – Cumin – Cuminum cyminum – 800 mh
Chandana – Sandalwood – Santalum album – 800 mg
Ashwagandha – Winter cherry/ Indian Ginseng (root) – Withania somnifera (L.) Dunal. – 4 g
Mineral pitch – 1 g
Sariva – Indian Sarsaparila – Hemidesmus indicus – 1 g
Maranta arundinacea – 4 g
Ghee – 6 g
Guda – Jaggery – Saccharum officinarum – 80 g
Ashoka – Bark of Saraca indica – 20 g

Side effects and precautions

Side effects and precautions: 
This is not suitable for people with diabetes.
This medicine should be taken only under medical supervision.
over-dosage may cause gastric irritation.
Store in a cool dry place.
Use this medicine only till the prescribed time, in the prescribed dose only.
