Femlin Tablets – Benefits, Dosage, Ingredients, Side Effects

Femlin Tablets is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine, manufactured by Ajmera Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. Indore. It is used in the treatment of white discharge, vaginitis etc. 

Uses

Femlin Tablet uses: As per the claims made by the manufacturer, it is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment of Leucorrhoea, Senile vaginitis, pelvic girdle pain, Trichomonas vaginitis, Gonococcal infection and other associated vaginal discharges.

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Kapha and Vata

Dose and duration of use

Femlin Tablet Dose:
2 tablets, 2 – 3 times a day or as directed by physician.

How long to take? 
It can be taken for upto 1-2 weeks  based on doctor’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Each tablet contains
Abhraka Bhasma – Bhasma (calx) of Mica – 10 mg
Kankola – Piper cubeba – 20 mg
Ashoka – 50 mg
Lodhra – Lodh tree (bark) – Symplocos racemosa – 50 mg
Ashwagandha – Winter Cherry / Indian ginseng (root) – Withania somnifera – 50 mg
Makshika Bhasma – Bhasma (Calx) of Copper and Iron Pyrite – 5 mg
Loha Bhasma – Bhasma (Calx) of Iron – 5 mg
Daruharidra – Tree turmeric (stem) – Berberis aristata – 50 mg
Gokshura – Small caltrops (whole plant) – Tribulus terrestris – 50 mg
Majuphala – 25 mg
Hirabola – 10 mg
Shatavari – Asparagus racemosus – 50 mg
Sphatika Bhasma – Calx of Alum – 20 mg
Trivanga Bhasma – Calx prepared from Lead, Tin and Zinc – 5 mg
Excipients – quantity sufficient.

Side effects and precautions

Side effects and precautions: There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
It should be taken under strict medical supervision. Take this medicine only if your Ayurveda doctor has prescribed it to you.
Store in a cool dry place, in an air tight container, away from direct sunlight.
Use this medicine only till the prescribed time and in the prescribed dose only.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy, lactation and in children.
Over-dosage may cause gastritis, heart burn symptoms in people with sensitive stomach.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
