Hartone Capsule is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine. It is used in the treatment of cardiac disorders.

Hartone is a safe and effective anti-anginal agent comparable to ISMN. Hartone afforded excellent symptomatic relief in 80% of  patients and 70% in ISMN. The number of anginal attacks were reduced from 79/week to 24/week by Hartone and 26/week to 7/week by ISMN. Hartone improved stress test parameters in a significant proportion of patients. Hartone is better tolerated than ISMN and showed no evidence of hepatic or renal impairment.

Uses

Hartone Capsule uses: As per the claims made by the manufacturer, it is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment of Angina pectorism, Arteriosclerosis, Silent Ischaemia, Hypertension, Post myocardial infarction, Cardica neurisis, Prevent heart attack, Controls tachycardia, Reduces blood cholesterol, Improves cardiac circulation, Assured marked sense of well being.

Indication

Hartone Capsule indication: Angina pectoris, Palpitation, Ischaemic heart diseases, Post-myocardial debility, Cardiac arrythmias.

Effect on dosha

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata and Pitta.

Dose and duration of use

Hartone Capsule Dose:
1 to 2 capsules 3 times a day, before or after food as directed by physician.

How long to take?
It can be taken for up to 1 – 2 months, based on doctor’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Prabhakar Vati – a traditional Ayurvedic medicine – 40 mg,
Trinetra Ras – A traditional Ayurvedic medicine – 40 mg,
Kamduddha Rasa – 40 mg,
Mukta Pishti – Calx or powder of Pearl – 10 mg,
Praval Pishti – Calx or powder of Coral – 50mg,
Kasharava Pishti 10 mg.

Side effects and shelf life

Side effects and precautions: 
This product should be taken only under strict medical supervision.
Over-dosage or taking medicine for a longer period of time, than prescribed may cause gastric irritation and toxic side effects.
keep out of reach and sight of children.
Store in a cool dry place.
It is best to take medical advise before giving it to  children, pregnant and lactating mothers.
Take this medicine only till the prescribed time, in the prescribed dose only.

Expiry date:  5 years from the date of manufacture.
