Laxmivilas Avaleha – Benefits, Dosage, Ingredients, Side Effects

Laxmivilas Avaleha  is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine, manufactured by Dindayal Industries Ltd, Gwalior.  It is used in the treatment of weakness and fatigue. 

Uses and effect on dosha

Laxmivilas Avaleha uses: It is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment for fatigue, weakness, mental exhaustion, stress, Convalescence period of diseases.

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata and Pitta.

Dose and duration of use

Laxmivilas Avaleha Dose:
Adult: 1 – 2 teaspoonful 2 times a day, or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
Dosage for children below 5 years of age – 1 – 2 grams, once or twice a day, along with a teaspoon of honey or warm water / milk.
Dosage for children between 5 – 12 years of age – 5 grams once or twice a day along with a teaspoon of honey or warm water / milk.

How long to take?
 It can be taken for upto 2 -3 months, based on doctor’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Murabba seva, Murabba of Haritaki – Chebulic Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia chebula,
Gulkand – Made of rose petals and sugar – 6 g each
Amla – Indian gooseberry fruit – Emblica officinalis Gaertn. Murabba – 18 g
Bihi – 3 g, Anar Sharbat – syrup of Dadima – Pomegranate – Punica granatum – 9 g
Kevada Arka – Calotropis procera, Gulab Arka – Rose water
Gulab – rose petals – 4.5 g each
450 mg each of
Vamshalochana – Bambusa bambos
Pravala Pishti – Powder of Coral
Sangyashav Pishti
220 mg each of
Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum
Twak – Cinnamon – Cinnamomum zeylanicum
900 mg each of
Post turanj
Pudina – Mentha spicata
Patra – Cinnamomum tamala
Balcchad
150 mg of Lavanga – Clove – Syzygium aromaticum
70 mg of
Rajatapatra – Silver Varka
Keshara – Kumkuma – Saffron – Crocus sativus
Mishri – sugar – quantity sufficient.

Side effects and shelf life

Side effect: 
It is not suitable for people with diabetes. This medicine should only be taken under medical supervision.
keep out of reach and sight of children.
Over-dosage or taking medicine for a longer period of time, than prescribed may cause hyper acidity and excess sleepiness.
Store in a cool dry place.
Take this medicine only till the prescribed time, in the prescribed dose only.

Expiry date: 5 years from the date of manufacture.
