It is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment of acute and chronic constipation, bloating, irregular bowel movements.
Effect on dosha
Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata.
Dose and duration of use
Constina Churna Dose:
1 to 2 teaspoonful two times a day, before or after food as directed by physician.
How long to take?
It can be taken for up to 1 – 2 months, based on doctor’s advice.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Isabgol husk – Plantago ovate- 45 g,
Swarnpathri – Cassia angustifolia – 4.5 g
Bala Haritaki – Chebulic Myrobalan (fruit rind) – Terminalia chebula – 3 g,
Amalaki -Indian Gooseberry- Emblica officinalis / Phyllanthus emblica – 7 g,
Sharkara – Sugar – 40,
Nimbu rasa – Lemon juice extract – 0.5 g,
Santra rasa – Orange juice –quantity sufficient.

This product should be taken only under strict medical supervision.
Over-dosage or taking medicine for a longer period of time, than prescribed may cause loose stools.

Store in a cool dry place.
Special care is required while prescribing this medicine for children, pregnant and lactating mothers.
Take this medicine only till the prescribed time, in the prescribed dose only.
