Guduchi Loh – Benefits, Dosage, Ingredients, Side Effects

Guduchi Loh is an Ayurvedic medicine in tablet form, used in the treatment of gout.  This medicine is most commonly used in north Indian Ayurvedic practice.

Guduchi Loh Uses: It is used in the Ayurvedic treatment of Gout, Rheumatoid arthritis.

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata, Pitta, Kapha

Guduchi Lauh dosage:
250 mg in the morning and evening, before or after food or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor. It is advised along with ghee, honey.

How long to use: It is administered for a period of 1 month.

Guduchi Loha side effects:
Self medication with this medicine is not advised.
Take this medicine in precise dose and for limited period of time, as advised by doctor.
Over-dosage may cause sever poisonous effect.
Keep out of reach and sight of children. Store in a dry cool place.

Guduchi Loha ingredients, how to make:
10 g fine powder of each of
Guduchi – Indian Tinospora (stem) – Tinospora cordifolia – extract
Shunti – Ginger Rhizome – Zingiber officinalis
Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum
Pippali – Long pepper fruit – Piper longum
Haritaki – Chebulic Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia chebula
Vibhitaki – Belliric Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia bellirica
Amalaki – Indian gooseberry fruit – Emblica officinalis Gaertn.
Vidanga – False black pepper – Embelia ribes
Chitraka – Lead Wort (root) – Plumbago zeylanica
Musta – Nut grass (root) – Cyperus rotundus
Loha Bhasma – Bhasma prepared from Iron – 100 g
