Aafresh Churna – benefits, Dosage, Ingredients, Side Effects

Aafresh Churna is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine. It means that the formula of the medicine is designed by the manufacturing company and it is not present in any traditional Ayurvedic text books. It is manufactured by Ajmera Pharmaceuticals Private Limited, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.

Uses

Aafresh Churna uses: It is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment of Hyperacidity, Indigestion, Chronic, Constipation, Flatulence and Dyspepsia.

Dose

Dose: 1 to 2 teaspoonful at bed time

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Aafresh Churna Ingredients:
Each 10 gm contains
Triphala

  • Haritaki – Chebulic Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia chebula
  • Vibhitaki – Belliric Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia bellirica
  • Amalaki – Indian gooseberry fruit – Emblica officinalis Gaertn.

1 g each.
Krishna lavana – Saindhava Lavana – Black salt
Gulabfool – Rose flower – Rosa centifolia
Shatapushpa – Indian Dill – Anethum sowa
Bala – Country mallow (root) – Sida cordifolia
Haritaki – Chebulic Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia chebula – 1 gram each
500 mg of each of
Ajamoda – Ajowan (fruit) – Trachyspermum roxburghianum
Trikatu – Pepper, long pepper and ginger
Anar dana – Dadima – Pomegranate – Punica granatum

Side effects and package

Side effects and precautions: People with diabetes should take this medicine under medical supervision, since it contains salt as an ingredient.
