Swas Kas Chintamani Ras is an Ayurvedic medicine in tablet form, used in the treatment of respiratory diseases. This medicine should be used under medical supervision. This medicine is most commonly used in north Indian Ayurvedic practice.

Uses and effect on dosha

Swas Kas Chintamani Ras Uses: It is used in the Ayurvedic treatment of cold, cough, bronchitis, asthma, and such other respiratory diseases.
Allergic rhinitis, allergic bronchitis.
interstitial lungs disease
This medicine is being used in the Ayurvedic management of covid 19.

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata and Kapha.

Dose and duration of use

Shwas Kas Chintamani Ras dosage:
125 – 250 mg once or twice a day, before or after food or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor. It is advised along with long pepper and honey.

How long to use: It is administered for a period of one month.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Swas Kas Chintamani Ras ingredients, how to make:
10 g fine powder of each of
Shuddha Parada – Purified and processed Mercury
Makshika Bhasma – Bhasma (Calx) of Copper and Iron Pyrite
Swarna Bhasma – Bhasma (Calx) of Gold
Mukta Bhasma – Bhasma (Calx) of Pearl – 5 g
Shuddha Gandhaka – Purified and processed Sulphur – 20 g
Abhraka Bhasma – Bhasma (calx) of Mica – 20 g
Loha Bhasma – Bhasma (Calx) of Iron – 40 g
Juice extract of Kantakari – Yellow berried night shade (whole plant) – Solanum xanthocarpum – quantity sufficient for grinding for seven days
Chagidugdha – Goat milk – quantity sufficient for grinding for seven days
Decoction of Yashtimadhu – Licorice – Glycyrrhiza glabra – quantity sufficient for grinding for seven days
Juice extract of Nagavalli – Betel leaf juice – quantity sufficient for grinding for seven days

Shwas Kas Chintamani Ras side effects:
Self medication with this medicine may prove to be dangerous.
Take this medicine in precise dose and for limited period of time, as advised by doctor.
Over-dosage may cause sever poisonous effect.
It is best avoided in pregnancy, lactation and in children.
Keep out of reach and sight of children. Store in a dry cool place.

  1. It’s a great product , 20 years back I was almost dying due to Asthma , I took this medicine for a month with other products and I got cured .

  2. My daughter is 5 month pregnant.. She is suffering from acute asthma problem.. Dr. advice her to take sawskhas chintamoni Ras… it’s works magically.. Is it safe in pregnancy?
