  1. Sir, i did Forensic testing & found all high levels of Lead, Aluminium & Tin. Mainly Navjivanras has 95000 ppmof Arsenic against Ayush permitted 3 ppm..

    • Very unfortunate to know.
Usual norm with any medicine with heavy metal ingredient is to prescribe only one medicine and that too for a limited period of 4 – 6 weeks time, taper the dose and stop.

  2. I have been taking Shodhana Vati, by Vyas Pharmaceuticals regularly for a year now with good results and no noticeable side effects. Do you think this is OK considering that it contains heavy metals?

  3. To N. Krishna: You specifically mention Navjivanras which is a completely different product than the subject of this article. And you don’t mention which manufacturer you are referring to? Some are much better than others, e.g. Shree Dhootapapeshwar has a very good reputation for making the Bhasmas and Parad properly according to the traditional procedures. They also show the spectrographic analysis of their products to prove that are within standards of Ayush. I have used many of their products and have not had any problems, only benefits.
