  12. Hi doctor, I am on my 15th day after delivery. I started using this thailam on my 3rd day with turmeric on the whole body for one hour followed by a hot water bath..how many days I have to use this? Should it be used for the whole 40 days or should I stop before that since we start doing household chores after 40 days?…some people suggest that its not advisable to use for 40 days as we start doing household works.what is your opinion doctor. How many days should I use this?or else what will I replace with this?

    Reply
    • Massage with this oil + turmeric can be continued till 40 days. No problem with it. After that, you can stop it or continue massage once or twice a week, based on your comfort. There is also no rule that massage should be stopped after 40 days. Longer the massage days, better.

  14. Take 2 teaspoons of the oil in a bowel. Dip the finger tips in it. Gently do the massage over the joints with mild pressure and circular finger movements for 5 – 10 minutes. Longer the better.
After the massage, it is best to give hot water fomentation or simply wash off with hot water. Do this at least once a day.

  32. Sir, My ayurvedic doctor has prescribed this thailam to be used daily before bath along with other tablets. ( Except head). I am having liver cirrosis. My experience is it reduces abdomen heat due to other tables. Daily bath is necessary?

    Reply
    • This oil contains many heating substances like Dashamoola, Ashwagandha, Triphala, cinnamon and cooling substances like Shatavari, Sariva. So, daily application will not cause a decrease of abdomen heat. If not daily, it can be used for oil massage 2 – 3 times a week.
