  4. Namaste Madam, Nalpamaradi and Kumkumadi Taila combination.

100 ml of Nalpamaradi oil, mix it with 10 ml of Kumkumadi oil. First, as a trial, apply only 3 drops of the oil over forearm. Mark the area and watch for any allergic reaction. If there is allergic reaction (red patches, itchiness), then consult a doctor immediately. If there is no allergic reaction, you can use it for massage. Take around 2-3 teaspoons of it, apply to whole body, leave it for 15 minutes, wash off with lukewarm water. Do it once or twice a week.

      • Thank you very much doctor.
I had one more doubt. When it is applied in a thin layer as mentioned, does it need to be washed off? Can it be used in this manner as an after bath moisturizer?
        Thankyou

        Reply
        • If only a few drops is applied, as a thin layer and if the skin is dry, no need to wash off.
If the skin is naturally oily, then better to wash off after 30-60 minutes.
It can be used as moisturizer – just 3 – 5 drops.

I have a deficiency of Vitamin D. My doctor asked me to apply mustard oil on my body for better absorption of Vitamin-D. As I am from Kerala, we have more of coconut oils here. Is there any product of Kotakkal or any other company which has mustard oil base? OR is Eladi thailam sufficient for my cause?
