At the end, Dhataki puspa, if included in the formula, should be properly cleaned and added. The mouth of the pot, vessel or barrel is covered with an earthen lid and the edges sealed with clay-smeared cloth wound in seven consecutive layers. The container is kept either in a heap of paddy, so as to ensure that for the duration of fermentation, as far as possible, a constant temperature may impede or accelerate the fermentation.

After the specified period, the lid is removed, and the contents examined to ascertain whether the process of fermentation has been completed. The fluid is first decanted and then strained after two or three days. When the fine suspended particles settle down, it is strained again and bottled.

  1. I am taking dabur ashokarisht about a month. I didnt saw any effect on menstual bleeding instead my periods got delayed by 2days .my stomach also get upset( loose motions) . Please tell me how should i use ashokarisht in a better way to treat my problem of less bleeding. Should i stop using it,or take it.

    • Hi, Ashokarishta does not help if the bleeding is less. If only the bleeding is more, then it helps to reduce it. It does not help to reduce the number of days in a menstrual cycle. If someone has a shorter menstrual cycle, it helps to prolong it. Hence, in your case, it makes sense to stop it.
